What holds the most power in my life?

In my life, what holds the most power of my decisions is mixed between me and my parents. They decide on my larger decisions that require their consent and I manage my behavioral decisions. Such as for my parents, they choose what school I attend, what time I go to bed, what my chores are, what my priviledges consist of, and more. I choose how I decide to react to arguements, who I choose to be friends with, what I choose to do in my spare time, and how I do in school. So my parents hold the power of my responsibilities and I hold the power of my behavior and my choice in influence from friends. So in thee event of who/what holds the most power in my life, it is a combination of my parents and I.

Why are so many Americans overweight?

WHY ARE SO MANY AMERICANS GETTING SO OVERWEIGHT?!?!?!?!?! There are several opinions to the main idea why so many Americans are overweight, but I believe one reason is more responsible than the rest. I feel laziness causes a majority of obesity.Add more info. -Maddie Penney 1/11/10 10:20 AM

There are many causes of obesity. One cause that stands out a bit more than the others is a lack of willpower. A lack of willpower means to not care or be worried enough to bother with something. When people begin lacking in willpower they tend to sit around or sleep more often and be less active. When people become less active, they burn less fat than they would if they were active. So once you lack in willpower and become lazy to the point of hardly ever doing anything, all you're doing is building fat and not burning it off, in addition, a common result of increased indulgence speeds up the process of becoming overweight.

Although many people may disagree with this statement, I still my argue opinion. Another cause of obesity that I feel supports my opinion would be irresponsibility. A person who is irresponsible could also become overly lazy. When someone is irresponsible, they tend to set things aside and refuse their duties. When people refuse duties, they can lose their jobs or become disliked due to people not trusting them because they are irresponsible. So when you refuse your duties, you tend to sit around and do nothing which results in another version of process towards obesity. When someone becomes irresponsible and lazy, they do the same with their weight as they do with their duties, they just put it aside and let it go. They do nothing to keep it under control or take care of it.

So many people also feel they are worthless or the have no reason to care. This cause of obesity can be known as a low self-esteem. A low self-esteem is something that happens to someone mostly when people say something about them that puts them down and really hurts their feelings. Others feel like they can't do anything right and feel worthless and are disgusted by themselves so a result that occurs from events such as these can be obesity.

In conclusion, there are numerous causes of obesity and different reasons that the causes occur in. There are many more than I have named off here but these are a few major ones.

Why do countries have wars?

A big reason why most countries have wars is because they have conflicts. Although, these are not caused by only one type of thing. Different situations cause conflicts between countries and stress the diplomacy between them if there is a diplomacy at all. Some of these conflicts occur by national leaders arguing over the terms of peace or such issues. Sometimes it is just because one country has offended the others traditions. It can also be due to a violation of diplomatic terms and conclude to war. There is a largely extended list of causes and what I have shown here are just a few examples.

How was the Earths moon created?

The creation of the moon was due to a case of problems in "universal" co-existence. The whole issue was created when the Earth was still in a premature state and contained no life. After so many millions of years a planet had moved close enough to Earth to get caught in Earths gravitational pull. It soon collided with the Earth and caused massive destruction scattering millions of fragments of the Earths crust into space and the cores of the two planets formed together and became one. The Earth soon recovered and the fragments that blew away from Earth started to orbit around Earth. Over time the fragments of rocks began to clump together and in time had formed what we call today, the moon. Thanks to the planet that collided with Earth, the collision knocked Earths axis to a tilt that made it able to sustain life and weather. The moon became a benefit to Earth as well. The moon orbiting around the Earth keeps the Earths axis at its tilt and keeping it from tilting out of position. If the moon were to drift away, the Earths tilt would be knocked out of whack and cause it to have disaster in the weather climate and go back to being a dead planet.

wars

Wars are a common sign of conflict. Wars usually occur between two countries or civilizations if you prefer that term. It is when two civilizations disagree or have crossed lines with one another and civil war breaks out. These wars can last for a few months or a few years. There is no way to ever tell the length of a war.
